Frequently asked questions
How do I place an
order?
You can place your order online using your
credit or debit card by adding items to your basket. If you wish
to pay by cheque, print out the mail order form available here, then complete and post it to us. If
you don't see what you're looking for on the site contact us and we will do our best to create something
to your requirements!

How long will it take for you to dispatch my order?
Most items are made to Order and are normally despatched
within 14 working days, but please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.
In stock items are available for immediate despatch. If for any reason
there is a delay with your order you will be notified. If you require
your item urgently please contact us and we will do out best to accommodate
you (although a surcharge may apply). In paying by cheque goods will
not be despatched until funds have cleared (about 5-7 working days).

What
are your postage and packaging charges?
Postage will cost £4.50 per order and all items are sent by
next day special delivery.
If ordering outside the UK please contact us for a postal
quote.

What is your returns policy?
Return Policy / Authorization
Should an error occur on our part, or if you believe your order is damaged,
defective or short any item(s), please notify us within 3 days for return
authorization or correction.
All returns must be authorized by Millinery by Janis.
We allow a 3 day order review period from time of delivery. If you are dissatisfied
with a product, a Returns Authorization must be obtained from us within the
3 day review period. Once authorized, the new or unused item must be returned
to us within 10 days from the date delivered. Include a copy of the original
invoice with the returned item. Original packaging must be included and the
item must not show any wear, usage or intentional damage. Postage charges
are not refunded. If an item is returned without defect within 10 days of
date of delivery, we reserve the right to charge a 15% re-stocking fee when
refunding the customer.
If a customer returns an order within 10 days of date of delivery because
of a material defect in a product, the item will be replaced or refunded with
no restocking charge. Original packaging must be included and the item must
not show any wear, usage or intentional damage. Postage charges are not refunded.
In either situation, returns authorization must be obtained
before sending the item to Millinery by Janis.
